Sharepoint is a great tool for building fast and flexible intranets and extranets. Out of the box, Sharepoint provides a variety of color themes, but the overall look of the site is limited to their basic templates. Many users are not aware that many aspects of the templates can be customized to make Sharepoint match the look of almost any customer identity.
This is an example of a recent project we completed for Colorado Mountain Express. Essentially the project was to install and configure Sharepoint for the organization. Following the initial implementation we developed an employee extranet for hiring and recruiting called "CMEspace". The development of their portal included customizing the identity of the Sharepoint site to match the look of their recruiting site.
